Units review schedule 2004Unit reviews are part of Monash's quality assurance processes and are designed to fit within the quality cycle of 'plan, act, evaluate and improve'. As part of this 'Quality at Monash' agenda the University expects each faculty to review all of its units over a 3-5 year period. Education nominated a three year cycle and at the end of 2003, just over 200 units had been reviewed. Feedback from these evaluations has been distributed to staff so that they can plan and implement strategies to strengthen the unit, as part of the improvement phase of the quality cycle. The list below contains the Faculty of Education units that will be offered in 2004 and which, according to our records, have not yet been reviewed. To meet our three year quality assurance program they will be reviewed this year. What you need to doAcademic Services staff are available on each campus to assist with the administration of the unit evaluation and will print, package and deliver your questionnaires and response forms requirements. All you need to do is plan to set 10 minutes aside towards the end of the semester or teaching period to conduct the survey and return the completed response forms to Academic Services staff as per the instructions on the envelope which will be provided to you. Note: If you think you have already reviewed the unit(s) listed below in 2002 or 2003 please check with the nominated campus Administrative Officer so we can check our records. Units: |
