Guidelines for Responding to Terms of Reference (Draft)

  1. Nominate T of R category eg. Leadership, organisational structure and management
  2. Nominate sub category eg. The performance of the Faculty's leadership and management in maintaining and developing the academic standing and reputation of the Faculty. (This item may require some further dot points to spell out the type of things that will be investigated)
  3. List the ways the T of R can be demonstrated/measured using Monash's quality cycle framework
    • Planning initiatives eg. Workshops, Meeting agendas and minutes, Planning documents, Action Plans Performance management plans
    • Actions taken eg. Outputs, Programs, Restructuring, Activities
    • Monitoring and evaluation eg. Trend data, Statistics, Surveys, Stakeholder feedback
    • Improvements implemented eg. Organisational restructuring, Target setting, Communication/Marketing strategy, New course unit developments, Course/unit amendments
  4. List the sources of data that will need to be collected for each of the identified items within the quality cycle
  5. Identify whose responsibility for each of the sources
    • To co-ordinate
    • To collect
    • To collate
  6. Indicate a timeframe for each phase of the process
  7. Prepare Portfolio responses for each of the relevant T of R
